BELIEVING MIRRORS

Dear Friends,

In the May edition of the ‘Science of Mind’ magazine, Diana J Ensign talked about “Believing Mirrors.” I love that term. She quoted Julia Cameron, “Find people who you can go to for encouragement. Find those who are optimistic and reflect back to you your gifts, and embolden you to envision for yourselves what you may not yet have discovered within.”.” Sometimes we need our believer friends to reflect back to us who we are and encourage us in all we do. Having family and friends that are supportive is a gift of love.

When I was going through my back and leg pain challenge, I had to rely on Steve and my friends as Believing Mirrors, knowing my Truth. I am a divine child of the most high, forever perfect, whole and complete. I was in too much pain to pray and know the truth for myself. Because so many people were praying and declaring my truth for me, I was able to pray and see it for myself.

There will be naysayers in our life and unfortunately when we listen to the “you can’t, you shouldn’t, it won’t work” words of discouragement, we fall off our purposeful path where a God Given Idea falls away. My husband Steve is a Creative Visionary and Writer. He has said over the years, when he has an idea and someone says “you couldn’t possibly do that,” he goes ahead and does it.

Not only can supportive family and friends help us, we can become our own“believing mirror.” Stand in front of a mirror and say affirmations confirming your hearts desire, dream and goal. We know the more we say what we want, and feel it is ours already, the Universe (as our subconscious mind) will say YES.

“Life is a mirror and will reflect back to the thinker what they think into it.” –   Ernest Holmes
