Thoughts are like Seeds

Tomorrow is April 1st and we are well into our Spring Season.
One morning as I walked through the neighborhood, I saw flowers sprouting and the greenery sparkling. The smells were wonderful and I really felt the Newness of Spring.  Later I was reading the SoM magazine and loved the article by Rev. Dr. David Alexander titled,
“Lovingly Tend Your Mental Garden.”
It was a wonderful reminder that our thoughts are seeds. When we think a thought, we plant that thought into the fertile ground of our mind. We tend that thought seed with positive affirmations, and weeding any negative thoughts that come to mind.  Dr. David said:
The soil we plant in, is connected to the subconscious mind
of collective humanity…a part of the stream of consciousness
that moves around us every day.”
This means not only are we tending our own garden, we are tending everyone else’s garden as well, because we are all connected.  The more we weed out fear, despair, hopelessness, worry, anxiety and judgement, from our own garden, the more we are weeding these ideas out of the world consciousness.   At this time of crisis in our world, it is vitally important to keep the seeds of love, joy, service, happiness, compassion and Oneness,  in our hearts and minds. The thoughts we think WILL HEAL OUR PLANET and bring back the WHOLELESS of HEALTH and LIFE  to all people, animals and our Mother Earth.

Along with my husband Steve, I have a  wonderful prayer partner,
Rev. Dr. Kathleen Johnson, who wrote a beautiful prayer treatment
in relation to the Covid 19.
“It begins by recognizing the Nature of God as Omnipresence, Omnipotence, and Omniscience, as Love, Wholeness, Health and Abundant Supply of All Good. We then admit our union in God and that human nature is the same as God Nature. Then we can realize that we have been given the power of creation through our thoughts, spoken words, and beliefs. So let us claim the evolution of human consciousness beginning with us, a shift from fear to love, from a belief in the power of disease to a knowing that God is the Only Power and that Power is within us guiding us, inspiring us and co-creating with us.
Let us claim the health of humanity in all ways, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Now let us give thanks for the manifestation of this prayer by releasing it to the Creative Mind of God, the Heart of God.
And so it is.”

Ho’oponopono

Dear Friends,
There is a prayer in the Hawaiian culture all about healing and forgiveness.
On my walk the other day, the prayer started going through my head.  It became well know by Dr. Hew Len who started praying for prisoners and helped heal them all as well as the staff.
What if WE as a HUMAN RACE started praying this prayer for the WORLD. Healing would take place.  Love and Forgiveness opens blocks, barriers and obstacles in all matter of healing, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
Here is the story behind this amazing prayer.

Dr. Len’s Amazing Success with Ho`oponopono
There is a legendary story of a man known as Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len, who cured every patient in the criminally insane ward of a Hawaii`i State Hospital
– without ever seeing a single patient. Now this may seem a little “insane,” but upon having a closer look, the story speaks for itself. Dr. Len set up an office within the hospital to review his patients’ files. While he looked at these files, he would work on himself, and over four years, the patients all healed. In addition, the staff who had been calling in sick or quit, eventually loved coming to work.  He used the legendary Hawaiian healing and cleansing method Ho’oponopono to accomplish all of this. It is based on healing through loving oneself.
Dr. Len repeated the words “I love you” and “I am sorry” over and over again while reviewing each file individually. After a few months, the patients who were shackled were allowed to walk freely, patients were taken off medications, and even the hopeless cases were eventually released back
into society. The word spread and many were curious about this fantastic story, but there was very little information available about it.
Then a man named Dr. Joe Vitale, best-selling author and personal development guru, caught wind of Dr. Len’s story and decided he had to learn from him first hand. Dr. Vitale soon became aware that Dr. Len is a master teacher of this ancient Hawai`ian practice of Ho`oponopono. He learned that by using this potent forgiveness and releasing process, one is able to “clear your mind of subconscious blocks so that destiny and desire can take over and help you get what you truly want from life.
It clears out unconsciously accepted beliefs, thoughts, and memories that you don’t even know are holding you back.”
Their collaboration eventually led to the co-authored book Zero Limits,
which chronicles this journey,  Dr. Hew Len has retired now. He has a very important message for us all to hear and heed:

‘The only purpose in your life and mine is the restoration of our Identity-
our Mind-back to its original state of void or zero (Buddha),
of purity of heart (Jesus)
and of blank (Shakespeare) through nonstop cleaning. ‘”
With Love and Forgiveness,

Keep the Faith, Family, Friends and Love

Dear Friends,
We pray you are all taking the human footsteps in keeping safe and healthy during this Coronavirus time in our history.
Many of our offices, events, theaters, public buildings, and schools have shut down.
Health Footsteps
We do not have to shut down. We need to keep our faith in the All Good -All God.
Faith Footsteps
Remember Faith, not fear will move us forward.   Keep knowing the Truth of your being, Spirit, God, Divine Love, Joy, Peace, Happiness, Wholeness in body, mind and soul. See your family, your friends, house and your car surrounded with Divine Love and Light as a beautiful shield. Know only Good can enter in this Love and Light and only Good can move forward from this Love and Light.
Friend Footsteps
Find a way to stay connected with loved ones, friends, family, co-workers etc.
Call, write, text, email.  Everyone is a sacred human being  needing to be acknowledged, seen, thought of, and communicated with. Send joy, laughter, funny jokes, good news. The more we stay in touch and laugh, the better our immune system will be.
TWO  Beautiful prayer meditations written by Dr. Ernest Holmes from the
Science of Mind text book are:
Love Dissolves All Fear
Greater than fear is Love,
Love dissolves all fear, casts out all doubt and sets the captive free.
Love, like the river of Life, flows through me and refreshes me
with its eternal blessings.
Love cannot be afraid; it is fearless and strong, and is mighty in its works.
It can accomplish all things through the Inner Light of that faith in the All Good.
Which fills my very Being with a Powerful Presence.
Love casts out all fear.
As Love Enters, Fear Departs
As Love enters, fear vanishes
I am so filled with Love that no fear can enter my thought.
I am not afraid, for I know that a perfect Intelligence guards
and governs my every act.
Perfect Love casteth out all fear.
I am unafraid, and strong in my faith in that inner Presence
that keeps me from all harm.
Perfect Love casteth out all fear.
Keep the Faith, Family,  Friends, and Love.
Lovingly,
Abigail and Steve

Ripple of Kindness

Dear Friends,
Very often I am asked and/or in a discussion about what we can do in these divisive times.  At a San Dieguito Interfaith Ministers Association, Rev. Karen Koblentz read the words of Audrey Pary.
“As the world fights to figure everything out, I’ll be holding doors for strangers, letting people cut in front of me in traffic, saying good morning, keeping babies entertained in grocery lines, stopping to talk to someone who is lonely, being patient with sales clerks, smiling at a passerby. Why?
Because I will not stand idly by and live in a world where love is invisible.
Join me in showing kindness, understanding, and judging less. Be kind to a stranger, give grace to friends who are having a bad day, be forgiving of yourself -today and every day.
BE the change, BE the light, start today and never stop”
What a wonderful way to move through your day. Be aware of those around you, say a kind word, do a kind deed.  One never knows how gigantic the ripple effect will be.
Kindly,
Abigail and Steve

March is Women’s History Month

Dear Friends,
On a Human Level Welcome to Women History Month and International Women’s Day
on March 8th.
We know there are many women in the limelight doing great things to promote peace, equality, compassion, social justice and equal rights in the world. We also know there are women in our own family, our women friends and/or colleagues who have influenced us, helped us make good choices and been responsible for pivotal times in our lives.  These women, close to home, need to know how much you appreciate them. Tell them how much they mean to you and how they influenced you. Get together for a lunch, movie or spa date!
If you have a chance to mentor a  young teen or young adult take that chance.
Be the one to make a difference in another person’s life.

This is also the 100th year anniversary for Women’s Right to Vote!
We need to celebrate that accomplishment!  Thank you 19th Amendment!
On a Spiritual Level, we honor the Divine Feminine in all Beings, both male and female. The Divine Masculine thinks the thought and the  Divine Feminine  gives birth to the new thought.
Eugene Holden in the Science of Mind Magazine said,
“The subconscious mind is the law of our lives and is feminine in nature.
It takes what the conscious mind – the male aspect of our consciousness – impresses upon it and gives birth to the idea or thought.  This is the Law of Mind. The law and I are one. What I impress upon the law, my subconscious mind, must be expressed on the screen of my life. For this, I am grateful.”
As we plan our day, pray our prayers, think our thoughts all of us are the Divine Masculine. When we release and let go, we let the Divine Feminine take our plans, prayers and thoughts to create a new scenario, and birth a new outcome in our life.
Remember we (feminine and masculine nature) are all like the wings of a butterfly. Both are needed to rise, fly and Be our best.
Equally,
Abigail and Steve
