BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD…

Dear Friends,

I love this Bible Verse, especially when I feel anxious about a new idea to pursue, a new event to plan, a new place to visit, an important meeting, a situation I am hoping to resolve. I take a deep breath and say this verse,”Be Still and Know that I AM GOD.”

This brings me a sense of peace that passes understanding. It reminds me GOD is first and foremost in all my actions with all people. It brings me back to Trust, Faith and Believe God is the still small voice within guiding and directing me and everyone around me. When I JUST KNOW God is guiding me and creating something new and wonderful what is there to be anxious about?

“Still Praying”                                                                                                                       ” So near was I to giving up                                                                                                On God and Answered prayer.                                                                                             I told God how to fill my cup.                                                                                        The what, the when, the where.

Until I sensed by Spirit’s prod                                                                                             a holy phrase to find:                                                                                                          Be still and know that I am God!                                                                                      These words transformed my mind…”

Dear Friends,

I am still filled up to overflowing from the wonderful Interfaith Awareness Week we had. We met so many new people and were thrilled to see friends from all over the world show up. It was a Global family gathering again.Each presenter was passionate about the wonderful work they are doing to create peace building and bridging around the world.

Our friend Rev. Dr. Ahmondra McClendon really explained the difference between “Interfaith” and “Multifaith.” Multifaith goes beyond known religious traditions to include other ways to come together as people and share sacred space.

All this and more resonated in my heart and filled me with “I want to do it all and make more of a difference.” It was almost overwhelming.

Then I remembered a song Daniel Nahmod sang, “Do Just ONE Thing…”I cannot do it all, however everyday I CAN do just ONE thing to bring PEACE, JOY and HARMONY on earth. I do it by listening to my heart and do what I am guided by God to do.If we all did just ONE thing each day to make a difference in someone’s life, just one person, just one activity, just one kind word, just one lending of support, just ONE THING, we will have accomplished a lot and WILL make a difference in this beautiful world.

So far we have had the most AMAZING two days of IAW! The Global Connection is palpable and sacred.

• POINT Interfaith Team had wonderful breakout sessions to discuss our faiths and deepen our global relationships.
• In the Nuclear Prayer Day program, we prayed for the world to be at peace and not allow what happened at Nagasaki to ever happen again.
• We now know how best to sustain our future and be good to our environment.
• We were shown how important Spiritual Education is for our youth and how we can live our lives compassionately. We can embrace our differences and still respect and honor each other.
• We know that our Divine masculine and Divine feminine sides need to be in balance as wings of leadership.
• We all caught the spirit of “UBUNTU” and know “I Am Because We Are.”

Join us today and the rest of the week through Saturday for the most AMAZING experience of Love, Connection, Leadership and sharing of Compassionate work around the globe.

Today, much of our focus is on PEACE. Read below for Tuesday’s events.

This week is a GIFT to you! It is FREE and all our incredible speakers are GIVING of their time and talent FREE, all over the world. We are meeting our brothers and sisters and discovering the GOD given talent and purpose each one has and is willing to share. There is a Peace Concert tonight by Daniel Nahmod. AMAZING!

Continue to scroll throughout the week to be AMAZED by all the different programs from “Building Bridges,” to Building Heaven on Earth” to youth in Interfaith work, justice, forgiveness, Belonging, musicals and many other explorations in peace building, faith traditions, with a Jewish Shabbat Service. We end with a wonderful program on “Interspiriutality, Heritage and Future” with the renown Matthew Fox and others.

Dear Friends

How do you view your life?

• Is it one continuous journey?
• Is it always a leap of faith?
• Is it fast and explosive?
• Is it slow, and methodical?

No matter how you view your life, it is always One step and then another.

I spoke with a beloved friend the other day and she was ready to begin a new life journey where what she created would work into a prosperous endeavor. Steve and I agreed.

She is an experienced minister, wedding coordinator, wholistic practitioner and a person you can come to for prayer and consultation. She is also a licensed boat Captain and owns her own boat. So many wonderful successful life experiences. You can just see those stepping stones in her life, and now she is ready to move onto a new step in life.

We know no mater what we have done in the past, GOD is never finished with us and continues to give us new Life Directions. We were never made to have just ONE job, one occupation, one purpose. We were meant to put one foot in front of the other on our life road. Complete one step and be ready for the next. We grow, we evolve, we suffer, we grow, we evolve, we celebrate good, we grow, we evolve, we learn continuously and grow spiritually!
