IMPRINTING ON THIS WORLD

Dear Friends,

I have 2 questions for you. Have you ever asked yourself,                                         “How Shall I Be Remembered?”“How Have I Imprinted on this world?

Years ago when I was teaching Kindergarten, my co-teacher and I raised ducklings, We took the children on a field trip to a farm and gathered several duck eggs to bring back with us. It was a wonderful learning experience for the children and us. We set up the lights and box with everything the eggs needed to stay warm and cozy until hatching. Ducks immediately Imprint on their mothers when they hatch. Mama duck is the first one they see and it lasts forever. Our three little duckies, Huey, Dewy and Louie imprinted on both my teacher buddie Jamie and me. We became the mamas. When the ducks were big enough we took them outside and let them swim in a tiny children’s pool. When they got out they immediately came running over to me or Jamie. It was so much fun to watch.

This story is really a reminder how much we imprint on people, especially the first introduction. We need to be aware, how we will be remembered, How will our words and actions affect that person. Our feeling tone and words can make a difference in a person’s life at that moment, that day and in the future. Are your words imprinting love, caring, compassion? Does the person you are talking to feel seen, heard and remembered?

How shall I be remembered today as I go about my business, run my errands, speak to my family, run a meeting? How will the words I use imprint on the people I am with?

“Asking yourself how you want to be remembered is a great way to decide how you want to live the rest of your Life!”AVIS Viswanathan

I really like this quote. How you want to be remembered can be the driving force in how you choose to live the rest of your life! Human Life is short. BE what you want to BE in this world and choose your words to reflect how you imprint YOUR life and on other’s lives.

SURRENDER and HAVE FAITH

Hello Everyone,

It is good to be home after a wonderful, yet sad trip to Philly. Steve did the memorial for our sister in law. We were happy to spend time with our niece and her husband. Before we left, of course I did prayer treatment for a safe secure trip to the airport, on the plane, going to our niece’s home and while we were there. Steve of course did a wonderful memorial talk. It was good to reconnect with Lisa’s (sister in law) family and the Albert family.

There were times when all I could do was surrender, surrender, surrender to God for the highest and best for everyone on the plane. On our trip to Philly we encountered storms and rain showers for 6 hours. Needless to say, it was a bumpy ride! I kept knowing God’s Wisdom and Intelligence was in charge guiding the pilots as they meandered around and through the storms.

The ‘Daily Word’ said, “I let go, let God and trust my faith.” There was nothing I could do but trust in God, have faith and surrender to the HIGHEST and INNERMOST GOD within the pilots and navigator.

The trip home was much easier and faster. However we had a glitch when it came to securing an Uber driver. Our phone kept saying he was on his way, then the phone said he was here, however no Uber showed up. We were in a bit of a quandry. We kept seeing people around us waving to their drivers, being picked up and leaving easily. I walked up and down looking for that particular car and license plate. Never found it. I started to feel myself panic! I was tired and just wanted to go home. I could feel the fear arise in me and then I stopped! I said a silent prayer thanking God for bringing us the right Uber driver, quickly and easily and we get home soon. I surrendered the outcome to God for our highest and best. Steve then got a new message on his phone saying another Uber driver was on her way. Sure enough, within minutes she arrived and we were home within 1/2 hour.

One of the Declaration of Principles we believe in is,”We are surrounded by the Creative mind, which receives the direct impress of our thoughts and acts upon it.”
When we CHANGE our thinking we CHANGE our Lives and our Experience!

All I had to do was change my thinking, from fear to faith, knowing God within is receiving my thoughts and acting upon them!

When in doubt, when in fear, when in worry, STOP! SURRENDER TO GOD what you WANT. We can’t always FIX things. We have to allow God be God within us to do what is best for us.

Surrender, Surrender, Surrender

HEALING is an INSIDE JOB

Dear Friends,
Recently I wrote about our ONENESS with God and the beautiful quote by
Thich Hnat Hanh.
“Enlightenment is when the WAVE recognizes and knows
It is the OCEAN.
This beautiful truth of our ONENESS as and of God also is the
Enlightenment of HEALING.
Ernest Holmes said, “Humanity is Divinity in form.”
When we recognize and know this Truth, healing takes on a new meaning.

We all have our healing and health challenges. That is a human experience for many. Ernest Holmes also said,
“Healing is the discovery of the Divinity Within”
“We can hold two things simultaneously; the reality of what’s appearing and the deeper reality of what can never be taken away.” EH

I am going to share some Healing, and Wholeness quotes from leading minister/teachers for you to contemplate and meditate on.
• “Disease is a fact but not a truth. It is an experience but not a reality. We are always whole as the Life of God.”
Rev. Dr. Soni Cantrell Smith
• “Know that Divine Life is present, active and whole as you and/or the person you are praying for, regardless of what the body is doing. In the knowing something is always healed even when the form doesn’t survive.”
Rev. Dr. Soni Cantrell Smith
• ” The body, the faithful, brilliant, blameless body – can only correspond to what the mind BELIEVES is true.”
Rev. Dr. David Ault

Last year when I was going through four bulging discs and excruciating pain in my legs, it was hard to know my truth as God, Spirit. I relied on my Prayer partner, Rev. Kathleen Johnson, my husband Steve and others who prayed for me, knowing my truth. My body heard, responded and got better.
I also took the human footsteps and sought out Physical Therapy and our Chinese Medicine doctor, Dr. Bret Mosher whose incredible treatments helped me go from being in a wheelchair to walking again.

One thing to remember while healing is, THE BODY HEARS YOU. It feels your emotions, anxiety, fears and responds accordingly. If you cannot Spiritually pray for yourself, ask a minister or practitioner to KNOW your truth and then YOU surrender into the TRUTH.
As the wave (human you) knows itself as the ocean (God ), know that truth for yourself.
