Dear Friends,
I have 2 questions for you. Have you ever asked yourself, “How Shall I Be Remembered?”“How Have I Imprinted on this world?

Years ago when I was teaching Kindergarten, my co-teacher and I raised ducklings, We took the children on a field trip to a farm and gathered several duck eggs to bring back with us. It was a wonderful learning experience for the children and us. We set up the lights and box with everything the eggs needed to stay warm and cozy until hatching. Ducks immediately Imprint on their mothers when they hatch. Mama duck is the first one they see and it lasts forever. Our three little duckies, Huey, Dewy and Louie imprinted on both my teacher buddie Jamie and me. We became the mamas. When the ducks were big enough we took them outside and let them swim in a tiny children’s pool. When they got out they immediately came running over to me or Jamie. It was so much fun to watch.
This story is really a reminder how much we imprint on people, especially the first introduction. We need to be aware, how we will be remembered, How will our words and actions affect that person. Our feeling tone and words can make a difference in a person’s life at that moment, that day and in the future. Are your words imprinting love, caring, compassion? Does the person you are talking to feel seen, heard and remembered?
How shall I be remembered today as I go about my business, run my errands, speak to my family, run a meeting? How will the words I use imprint on the people I am with?
“Asking yourself how you want to be remembered is a great way to decide how you want to live the rest of your Life!”— AVIS Viswanathan
I really like this quote. How you want to be remembered can be the driving force in how you choose to live the rest of your life! Human Life is short. BE what you want to BE in this world and choose your words to reflect how you imprint YOUR life and on other’s lives.
