MESSAGE OF EASTER
We are in Easter Week where incredible history happened over 2,000 years ago. Those of us who celebrate Easter are always reminded of the amazing events that took place during this week. The story of Easter is about Jesus the Christ. The message of Easter week is for Us! Jesus, the Way Shower, the Master Teacher lived his life filled with Love, Forgiveness, Kindness, Humbleness and FAITH in God and God’s Purpose for His life. We too are meant to live our lives filled with Love, Forgiveness, Kindness, Humbleness and FAITH in God and God’s Purpose
Maundy Thursday – HUMBLE -ACKNOWLEDGE
We celebrate the LAST Supper of Jesus with his disciples. He loved each one and humbly washed the feet and ACKNOWLEDGED each one exemplifying HUMBLENESS in action and attitude. Are we humble? Every person makes a difference in life. Let us acknowledge the people we meet on walks, in the stores. Look at their name badges and make an effort to say their name in the transaction. Thank them by name, let them know they are “seen,” especially the disabled who are bagging your groceries.
Be humble. Acknowledge them.
Good Friday –LOVE – FORGIVE
This was the hardest day in the life of Master Jesus, his disciples, Mother Mary, Mary Magdalene and all those who followed Jesus. They watched the man they loved be crucified most painfully on a cross until he died. And yet, Jesus said,“Father, forgive them for they no not what they do.” Even in the midst of pain he loved and forgave those who set the actions into motion and crucified him.
Love and Forgive those who have hurt you.
Saturday – TRUST – FAITH
His followers mourned him. Most did not remember his words of resurrection. Can you TRUST in God through challenges? Death of a Loved one? Loss of a job? Health results? Family feuds? Is your Faith strong enough to know God will walk with you, guide you, be with you and provide a wonderful outcome? The ‘Daily Word’ said, “On that bleak first morning they could not have known about the coming resurrection. Instead they were left to trust that the teachings Jesus had left behind would give them comfort.””Yea though I walk though the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for THOU art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” (23rd Psalm)
Trust and have Faith in God for the DIVINE Outcome
Sunday – LIFE ETERNAL -RISE
Jesus taught “There is no death.” He proved it by making his presence known to his disciples, Mother Mary and Mary Magdalene. We are eternal beings. Our spirit rises up even if the human body dies. We are never alone. ‘Daily Word’ said, “Just as Jesus transcended death, turning pain into light and sorrow into joy, I, too, have the power to rise above any challenge. Easter is not just Jesus’ story it is mine too. His resurrection is a reminder that the power to rise about struggle and limitation is alive in me. I am a new creation. I rise.”
Rise up and Know you are an eternal being!
Happy Easter!
