We Are Always Connected

Dear Friends,

In our New Thought teaching we believe, “There is only One Mind, and that is the Mind of God and that Mind is my mind now.”
We all think into this ONE MIND which means we are always connected.  Our thoughts are our ‘focus connections’ with what we are doing, and who we are speaking to.  The beauty is, we are connected with those who live far away, and that is why Prayer Treatment works!  When we realize our wholeness, we realize wholeness for everyone, and those we are treating for.  My mentor, Dr. Juanella Evans always said, “God can never be harmed, marred, scarred, nor injured.” We are God in this form so in the reality of our spiritual being, neither can we.
Taking it one step further, we have the ability to connect with those who have crossed to the other side.  People tell me all the time their mother, father or sibling came to them in a dream or gave them a ‘sign’.  While walking the labyrinth, Steve’s brother came to me with the message, “We never really leave.” For me that means we are always together, always connected and have the ability to stay in contact whether in the physical or not.  My mother came to me in a dream which  opened my heart even further and I gained tremendous insight into why she was so unhappy in this life time.
I could feel tremendous love for her.
If you miss a loved one, take a moment to be still, bring up a visual or memory of this person and ask him or her to share a message. The message may come at that moment, or in a dream, a sign on a billboard, or a phone call from a friend.
Nevertheless, there is only ONE MIND, whether you are on this side of the veil or the other side. We are always in the inclusive love, and  realm of God.
Be at peace and know, you are never alone and always connected.
Listening with Heart,
Abigail

Empowered Women of Faith

Dear Friends,
This is a wonderful month to highlight women.   ALL WOMEN have a LIGHT to share and the time has come when we can no longer hide it, or put it under a bushel.  Some years ago I interviewed 12 women of faith, 10 of which said yes to being in my book,
Empowered Women of Faith

In this book, women of 10 faith traditions shared their  biographies, callings, challenges, spiritual practices, balance between family and work, success and failures and their wisdom for change, the future and being mentors and role models for other women making that leap of faith into a religious leadership role.
Julie Iraninejad – Baha’i
Dr. Karma Lekshe Tsomo – Buddhist
Lakshmi Sukumar – Hindu
Dr. Farnaz Khoromi – Sufi Muslim
Dr. Liana Carbon – Peruvian Shaman
Rabbi Karen Sherman – Reform Judaism
Rev. Dr. Kathy Hearn – New Thought’
Dr. Jane Via – Roman Catholic
Rev. Margo McKenna – Seventh Day Adventist and Unitarian Universalist
My story is woven in the book as well….
I dedicated this book to all the women who answered the call and Followed Their Heart...by heeding and accepting their Divine Calling in order to share their unique talents, gifts and abilities with the people of their faith traditions and world; those who Broke the Mold…by doing what was necessary to break the patriarchal mold and make the changes necessary to bring forth equality of men and women in their faith transitions.
By recognizing the women who paved the way before them in their faith  tradition, these women of faith made it possible for others to serve God without boundaries and limits and are Paving the Way…by being exemplary role models, teachers, leaders and mentors for our next generation of empowered women faith leaders.

I am a child of God

 Dear Friends,
This Saturday on our Labyrinth Walk we will explore how or whether we implement Self Love into our daily lives.
Marianne Williamson says;
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world.
Each one of us, women and men, must take a good look at who we are, what we can do, and explore our latent talents, skills and abilities. What is holding us back from sharing these abilities or letting others know we have them? Having the courage to say, “I can do that!” is what our world needs right now. This is all part of Self Love.
We must also understand we are already good enough because we are children of God.
No one has the right to put us down or make fun of us or tell us we can’t pursue a dream. Self Love is standing up for oneself.
See you at the Labyrinth Walk!!!
Courageously,
Abigail

Self Love

Dear Friends,We know before we love anyone else we must first
1. Love God
2. Love Ourselves ( respect, honor, care for, appreciate, know our Divinity), then
3. Love Others
Let us take the time to really appreciate who we are today. Have another personal burning bowl ceremony and let go of any “old tapes” or “negative nasties,” such as
• not feeling good enough,
• guilt for past mistakes
• the old, too tall, too fat, too thin, too whatever….
• not smart enough
• can’t do it because…
You know your own “monkey mind.” It chatters away so loudly it cannot hear the TRUTH about ourselves. Remember:
You are Blessed, Beautiful Children of the Most High God.
Your DNA is God’s DNA.
You are Divine
You are Spiritual Beings, having a human experience.
You are Loved by God
Since you are God in form and manifestation, how can you NOT love yourselves.
Not loving yourselves, means not loving the living God within!
Start blowing KISSES to yourself today and begin your I AM ….list.
I AM wonderful
I AM beautiful
I AM accomplished
I AM intelligent
I AM Loving and Loved
Continue your list and know “I AM” are two words for GOD. So you are speaking the truth about God and about YOU!
Lovingly,
Abigail

My Journey, My Story

We  are now well into 2018 and looking forward to our new expectations, intentions and goals manifesting.  We know when our heart and mind agree, there is no stopping us because the Universe says YES.   The Heart is our Love/God Intuition leading the way, and the Law of God, Law of Mind is making the way happen.   A new idea,  a new choice, a new direction is always filled with mixed emotions of excitement and apprehension.  However when it feels right (the heart saying yes,) it is God saying go for it.  Be courageous and take the necessary steps forward to accomplish whatever you have on your New Years list.
Think of it as a story, because it is a story.
It is  your life story! You are the star and main character.  You have a choice to bring in the characters you wish to be a part of your story.  Children love stories and have wonderful and wild imaginations to go with them.  As adults we sometimes have to cultivate that imagination since we live in our left brain a good part of the time.
What if, during your morning meditations/reflections, you created a story about one of your new year’s intentions.   First imagine  the story with all the characters you wish to be a part of this intention. Visualize all the scenarios in your heart and mind.  When you find the story you like best, write it down in a journal.  This solidifies it in your subconscious.  Read it everyday, change it when a better idea comes into your thoughts.  Check in with how your heart/intuition feels about this new idea.
Always end with “This or something better!” God has a  BIGGER PLAN and will always bring you a greater outcome.
We cannot change the past. We create our  future story by the thoughts, actions and ideas we have in the presence.  Keep your Vision alive everyday with your imagination and writing.
I look forward to hearing from you as you journey in and as your story. I can imagine, with God as your partner, your story and intentions will exceed your expectations!
Living and Loving My Story,
Abigail

YES for Women!

Dear Friends,
I want to take a moment to Honor ALL Women and ALL Enlightened Men.   As we saw this past weekend, women and men are rising up  together to say:
YES to Women Rights
YES to Equality
YES to Equal Pay for Equal Work
YES to  Respect, Dignity and Integrity
YES to Human Rights on all levels for all people.
YES to Women having the Right to make decisions about herself, her body and her life.
YES to Women for all that they are and all that they do!
YES for Women’s Incredible Intelligence, Wisdom, Compassion and Love
YES for Women of all races, cultures, faiths, and gender choices
YES for Women finally having leadership roles they are innately qualified to do and be.
YES for Women standing in their Power!
We saw a lot of women fed up with abuse,  put downs and seen as inferior this past weekend as they marched all over the world.  It was not only a political statement, it was a Human  Consciousness Statement.   No more feeling inferior, not enough, vulnerable.  We all are created in the image and likeness of God. When you put a woman down, you put God down.
Women’s time has come and we are loved and embraced by our enlightened men who also want to see equality and respect for women happen all over the world.
My heart, mind and spirit is with the women of the world!
Everyone do what you can to promote human kindness, human dignity, human encouragement and put a STOP to any abuse of any kind, whether it be a joke, a passing remark or an  incident on the street or in a store.  Steve and I took a Bystanders training class to learn how to de-escalate any volatile situation.  I would encourage you to call the nearest CAIR organization and find out when and where the next training will be. It is very easy and a one class commitment.

Let us bring up our beautiful daughters and granddaughters with the idea they are brilliant, talented, capable and have the right to choose who they wish to be.  Let us bring up our sons and grandsons with the idea they are brilliant, talented, capable and have the right to choose who they wish to be AND to know both men and women are equally deserving  in all aspects of life.  No one is better than…. Each one has his and her own unique talents, skills and abilities and need to express them the best they know how.  TEACH RESPECT, TEACH EQUALITY!

Today and EVERY day let us STAND TOGETHER.  As Ghandi said, “Let us BE the change we wish to see in the world!”

Serve God Serve Others Serve Self

Dear Friends,
I love the quote by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King. WE can ALL Serve in some way.
Being in Service, to me, means being aware of someone else’s needs and being willing to support and help in some way. This could be with a co-worker, a friend, a family member and/or a favorite charity, or a cause that is dear to you.
We are all here on earth to learn, not only how to be in service to God, and others, but also to be in service to ourselves We do this by loving, caring and being compassionate with ourselves when we make a mistake, or misspeak. We have heard the phrase, “Peace Begins With Me.” Service begins with ourselves and perhaps that can be a new years resolution and/or intention. We must be kind to ourselves, respect ourselves and find the joy for ourselves and follow it. When we are kind and joyful, we have the heart and mind to help others be kind to themselves and find their joy. This would cause a ripple affect spreading out to everyone, and as the Law of Cause and Effect applies, would come back to us multiplied! We would be living in a sea of kindness, compassion, caring , respect and love for each other, ourselves and God.
Be in Service and let it begin with You!
