Living on a Higher Level of Consciousnes

Change-The-World-Quote

Dear Friends, You and I are on a spiritual journey together and with every other human on this planet earth. We are all ONE interconnected family of God!  Every action we take will have an affect on someone somewhere and that someone will affect another and another as the ripples of life flow out.  How much of a difference do we want to make here on earth?  Keep our thoughts, feelings and actions on a high vibration of energy will make all the difference in the world! A colleague of mine, Rev. Dr. Kathleen Johnson, wrote about  the  4 levels of consciousness. The question is, which one are you operating at on a daily basis?

The MortalWhy me? – Victim mentally

The ManifesterBy me – Personal efforts to get things done and accomplish goals.

The MysticGod through me – Channel or Instrument of the Divine.

The Master God AS Me – Oneness Consciousness. Knows everything (good and not good) is meant to bless us and is FOR us. Each level sends out a vibrational energy which not only affects those you come in contact with, but also affects you since every thought, word and deed comes back in a continuous circle of life and karma. We are one connected family and for us to change the world, we must begin with our own hearts, minds, and consciousness. Make a difference, Be the Mystic, and Be the Master of yourself in all actions and activities.  You have the DNA of God within you. You are the ONE to change the world! ***

DIVE DEEP

pool

Have you ever been to a pool where there were so many people, all you could hear was  the splashing, screaming, laughing and yelling? Then you dove into the deep end and felt the outer noise disappear.

ocean rough waves

Better yet, have you been scuba diving?  Remember the surface waves and yells from the boat? Then you swam deeper and deeper until you discovered a beautiful, silent world under the surface of the sea.

Ocean deep silencePrayer, Meditation, & Contemplation  is  like diving deep into the ocean where sounds are silent,  and the experience  is breathtaking. Everything becomes clear and the world slows down.

GOD is like the DEEP OCEAN.  God at the deepest level is Profound Peace, Perfect Clarity, Divine Wisdom, and an Elixir of Love ready to pour in and through you.
It is a soothing ointment to any appearance of trouble, worry, fear or confusion. God, as you, is discovered  in this quiet time as you release any thoughts of yesterday, today or tomorrow.  Appreciate the wonders of God. Be grateful you are a beloved expression of God.  The longer you stay in this quiet state of grace, the better you feel and the better your day will go.
Go DEEP today. Be at Peace. Be Free.  BE your best Self.

Wishes DO Come True

You are never given a wish without also being given
the power to make it true.
You may have to work for it however.”
-Richard Bach, Illusions.

I love the quote above.  I believe “wishes,” which are God thoughts flowing within, do come true.  How hard do we have to work to make it happen? That depends on our ability to surrender to the Divine for a perfect outcome.

The Blue Ring

BLUE ring

There was a lady who really wanted to have a beautiful blue ring. She wasn’t exactly sure the hue or stone, she just knew she “wished” for a blue ring. One day she went out to find it. She was not looking for an expensive ring, just a lovely costume jewelry ring. The first day she went to Target, Steinmart, Walmart and Kohls. No luck.
The second day she went to Macy’s, then Claires.  Claires has the most inexpensive jewelry she ever saw and found a pretty mood ring for about $7.00.  At this point she was tired of looking and decided to settle on that ring.  As she was waiting for the saleslady, a most Divine thought came to her. It said,
“Do you not feel worthy of a beautiful, valuable ring?” That idea really startled her for a moment.  She thought, “Yes, I am worthy, and I don’t want to spend a lot of money on a ring.”
At that point she left Claires and decided to go to JC Pennys. Not expecting to find a ring there, she was mildly surprised to see a lovely costume jewelry ring. It was a size too big, but she thought, “Oh well, I can wear it on a different finger.” (settle for second best?) While  waiting to purchase it, she looked down through  the counter glass and there she saw the most gorgeous BLUE ring. The quality and value was so apparent, She remembered the divine thought.  Was she worthy? YES!
LONG STORY SHORT!  The lady bought the more expensive ring, which made her heart sing and gave her joy!  With discounts and sales, this beautiful $200 ring was purchased for $68.
MORAL of the Story?  TRUST in GOD to make wishes come true.  Sometimes we work hard, but once we release and let go of preconceived ideas, GOD can sweep in and Divinely Time, Orchestrate and Manifest the wish.
Who was that lady?  That lady was me!

Broken is Beautiful

Broken Pot with gold

When the Japanese mend broken objects,
they aggrandize the damage by filling the cracks
with gold.
They believe that when something has suffered damage, and has a history, it becomes more beautiful.
-Billie Mobayed
(Karen Jandorff Inspirations)

I love the quote above.
How many times have you gone through  a loss, a hurt, a betrayal, an incident that made you fall on your knees or feel like the world has dropped out from under you. We have all had experiences that shook us up, and created havoc in our lives for a period of time.  When things happen, we have  a choice to dramatize each incident and refuse to let them go, or we have a choice to have a NEW THOUGHT.   Instead of wallowing, we can look at the uncomfortable incidences and  decide  they are really golden opportunities  layered  in our lives to provide us spiritual opportunities to raise our consciousness to higher levels. We then see the world as beautiful. We love unconditionally. We forgive with compassion.

There is a Japanese story called the “Cracked Pot.”
Everyday an elderly man would walk to the water well to bring back water for his family.  He had two pots, one carried on each shoulder. One pot was perfect, and the other had a crack in it.  A small child asked the elderly man why he didn’t buy a new pot or fix the cracked one.  He said, “Everything has its purpose and the cracked pot has its as well. When I carry water back to my household, I am also able to water my flowers along the way from the water that leaks out from the cracked pot. Without my cracked pot the flowers would die.”

Moral of the quote and story: Everything is good and perfect in its own way. All is meant to bless us, our perfections and imperfections, our  bliss moments and our tragedies.  Nothing is outside the Good of God!
You are beautiful and perfect just the way you are!

Living in a Fish Bowl

Gold fish bowl

Live as if everything you do will eventually be known.
-Hugh Prather
(from Karen Jandoff daily messages)

I love the quote this week.
“Live as if everything you do will eventually be know.”  The TRUTH is,  everything you do, is Known. Possibly not by family, friends or neighbors, but always by the Spiritual Essence within you, and the Omnipresent Spirit which I call God.  Many faith traditions believe everything you think, say and do is recorded  in the Akaskic records, for you to view at a latter date – transition time.  We can never hide from God, nor fool ourselves into thinking something didn’t happen. The Truth is always known.   If we live our lives openly, honestly, with integrity, and stay in alignment with our God Selves,we will never have to “look behind us.” be afraid something will turn up on Facebook, or secrets will be revealed.
Living a Spiritual Life is living as if we were in a fishbowl, always clear, clean and in view for others to see.  Living this way really does keep us on the straight and narrow.  Living this way brings us a comfortable peace in our heart and mind knowing we are living our purpose in a  Spiritual way and have nothing to hide.
How is your fish bowl looking lately?

Walking in the Rain

RAIN dancing in
I love my early morning walks, and today I was surprised by a drizzling of rain almost as soon as I walked out the door.  I almost turned around to go back inside, and then decided,  “Rain is sweet, rain is what this earth needs, and I won’t melt!”  I kept walking and it got harder.  I saw another woman walking as well. We passed each other and  smiled. It was nice to know we were both walking in the rain and experiencing it together.  Eventually the rain slowed down and as I got to the top of one of our streets I saw the hills in the distance glowing from the sun.  Blue sky was peeking between the clouds and I thought,    “This is Life!”
We all have times when  it feels like life is raining on us, hard times happen.  And yet as we find the courage to keep going, and keep walking through the challenges, we know there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  Others will come out to support us, who may be going through similar challenges. The sun in always shinning whether we perceive the clouds or not.
Take heart.! What ever you are experiencing, breathe, and know God’s Light, Love and Blessings are there for you in the midst of it all.  Take a higher hill in consciousness and look at it from a different perspective. Everything is meant to bless you once you stop calling it bad or good.
Ponder this:
Did you ever think your challenge, may be someone else’s blessing in disguise?

Your North Star

North Star
Dear Friends,

The ancient sailors used to navigate by the North Star to find their way to a final destination.   I believe, we all need our own North Star to help guide our lives, and divine destination.
In the morning my routine is to thank God for the day before I get out of bed, go to my meditation chair, say prayers, meditate and read inspirational books and/or verses.  I then do some form of exercise, walking, yoga, stretching exercises and walk the labyrinth.  However there are days when I wake up, just not wanting to complete this routine.  The pull of checking my phone or starting on my computer becomes  stronger than my meditation practice.  When I succumb to those days, nothing seems to flow right. It feels like an uneasy day, and not much seems to get done.  When I overcome the “pull” and just say,  ‘I will only sit in my meditation chair for a few moments,’  this action becomes my North Star.
I know when I sit in this comfortable chair that can rock slightly, I feel at peace, I feel comforted, I feel connected to the Great Divine Energy of the Universe.   The few minutes I think I will sit there becomes longer, prayers flow, and  meditation becomes deep. I am fulfilled and guided with grace and ease for the rest of the day. All things fall into place. My attitude is serene. I accomplish more than I had planned. All works together for my good.
Love is leading my way.
What is your North Star?  Let it be your Spiritual tool first thing in the morning.  Phones and computers can wait.
Let  God  be your North Star in the morning.

SPRINGTIME

Spring Has Sprung

I love Spring!  I love seeing the new buds on the trees ready to burst forth in joy.  I love hearing the birds singing and knowing new life is in the eggs in the nest.  Everything is coming alive again!  Nature is such a wonderful teacher.  Everyday can be Springtime in our hearts and lives as well.  Ask  the Divine for a new idea, a new opportunity, a fresh perspective, a spring in your step, and watch what happens.  God placed within you unlimited ideas to create a life of JOY, abundance, love and service. The NEW is ready to emerge within you.
Are you ready?  Are you willing?
CLAIM God’s Springtime of Greater Good  in your life. on a daily basis.    Watch your life bloom!

Happy Spring!

A Different Perspective

Different perspective
There are times in our lives when we seem to get stuck looking at life as only flowing one way – our way. Many friends and colleagues  ask me to do prayer treatments for a new idea, clarity on an issue, and/or  removal of blocks in consciousness to open up greater good and blessings.  Being close to any situation tends to bring us to “tunnel vision”  thinking and seeing. What if we looked at all situations upside down, backwards or sideways.   I believe God has ALL ways in Mind when an event happens, an issue occurs or situation arises. God sees all the possibilities, all the outcomes, all the blessings.  People who have had mystical experiences say they see “everything at once.”  In our everyday lives, we can begin to open our hearts and minds to see  everything at once.  When someone hurts you, it isn’t just them.  It may be a whole series of events and choices in their life and in yours to bring you both together at that time and place.  Instead of being hurt, be compassionate. One hurts because one  has been hurt.  Remember if you walked in his or her shoes with all the life experiences he/she has had, you would have the SAME CONSCIOUSNESS doing, saying, thinking and feeling the same way.
Ernest Holmes said “Change your thinking, change your life.” Another idea is, “Change your perception, Change the outcome!”
I like to do “circle a word” puzzles. I love to find words whether they are horizontal,, vertical, diagonal or backwards.  Sometimes I just can’t find the word until I take a break and come back to it later.  In any situation, taking a break pausing for moment, leaving the area before saying anything you wish you could take back, is a wise and beneficial idea. When you come back you will have a fresh outlook on the situation.
I also like to find small hidden pictures in a whole picture. Sometimes I just have to turn the page upside down so my eyes don’t “assume” the picture is placed in a certain way. Sometimes the pictures are in the spaces between objects.
When we look at an upsetting event, it will help to step back and look at it as something you need to know, learn, or take action on. The space in the event is the blessing. Claim the blessing, find the good, call it forth, and it will come.

Sometimes you need to look at lifefrom a different perspective.

Love is at the Center

LOVE rock in center

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength,  while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”
– Lao Tzu

I love to walk the labyrinth in the mornings. It is a beautiful time for peaceful contemplation and meditation.
One morning I walked it and noticed a new rock in the center I had never seen  there before.  I picked it up and saw  the word “LOVE” on it. I was so touched, and realized someone placed it there at the Renewal of Vows ceremony on Valentine’s Day.  I do not know who this person is, and I am grateful for the love within them that made the choice to place it there.
What a beautiful reminder that LOVE is the center of ALL people, places, things, nature, animals, sentient and non sentient beings.  We know GOD is the center of All and God is Love so it reasons that LOVE is at the center and there is no circumference.
• Love/God is the center of your neighbor who hasn’t spoken to you in years.
• Love/God is the center of the person in the car who cuts you off on the freeway.
• Love/God is the center of the family member who tries your patience at family reunions.
• Love/God is the center of the co-worker who takes your creative idea and uses it for his or her own.
• Love/God is the center of the person you love who has hurt you.
Love/God is ALWAYS the center, just like the heart of the artichoke.  In order to get to the heart, you have to peel away the spiky ends. It may take awhile, but the more you peel, the softer the artichoke gets and finally you will arrive at the center where the taste is supreme.
How do we get to the LOVE center of people.  By treating each one with kindness, respect,  understanding, patience, encouragement, and acceptance for who they are right now and  KNOWING the good is always within.  When we can see the good, we draw it out.  The heart is exposed and love appears.
Thank you to the person who walked the labyrinth and reminded me, LOVE is the center of All there is.
