Love is a Boomerang

Love is a Boomerang

Dear Friends,                                                                                                                      We just celebrated Memorial Day, where we honor all our military and their service to our country preserving its Freedom and helping other countries preserve theirs.  FREEDOM – is an integral part of our constitution.                                                           Freedom to gather.                                                                                                  Freedom to speak.                                                                                                          Freedom to pray in our chosen faith.                                                                        Freedom to live safe and secure in our communities regardless of culture, race, ethnicity, faith preference.

Our prayers are needed so much right now in the world, knowing the TRUTH of GOD. God has granted us freedom within to BE who we need to be and do what we need to do. We all have been created by the ONE Mother Father God, Divine Vibration, Energy and Creator of the Universe. That means we are all brothers and sisters in the ONE Family of God. Our thoughts and prayers are needed daily knowing this truth. When our prayers go out, they affect at least 750,000 people ( Researched fact by Rev. Janine Burns). When we pray in a group imagine how far our thoughts and prayers will go. WE DO affect the world. We must remain conscious of this truth. The more we get together to pray for and with others the more we affect the World’s Consciousness and the more we make a difference in the events of the day and the future!

Carl Sagan wrote, “The Cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the Universe to know Itself.” We are all part of this Cosmic Connection. We all have the Presence of God Indwelling within us. When we speak, the Universe listens. Every soul is affected in some way and can continue to make a difference in the world.

Let us not dwell on fear or hatred of those who carry out horrible actions. That only goes out and creates more of what we do not want.

Let us dwell on LOVE, Connections, Compassion, with uplifting prayers. That will go out into the Cosmos and make a difference for GOOD and Divine Right Actions everywhere and even back to us!

Be a blessing, contribute GOOD, Loving, Kind thoughts and prayers to the world. Boomerang it out and watch how it returns even better than you can imagine!!!

STAND in UNITY with Islamic Center San Diego

May 19, 2026

Dear Friends,

Today, I must address what happened in San Diego yesterday, May 18, at the Islamic Center San Diego. Steve and I are friends with Imam Taha Hassane and have been to his center many times for POINT meetings, sacred services, events and gatherings.   We are horrified and heartbroken about what took place. Two shooters stormed the Islamic Center San Diego. Three adults are deceased, one being a security guard. The two shooters took their own lives as well. See the news for more details.

Let us all pray for Imam Taha Hassane, his family, community and all our Muslim brothers and sisters as they try to restore their lives after this horrendous happening.

GOD’s HIGHEST WILLINGNESS

Dear Friends,
I was reading the ‘Science of Mind’ magazine and a quote from Dr. Ernest Holmes (EH) said: “Prayer is not an act of overcoming God’s reluctance, but should be an active acceptance of His highest WILLINGNESS”
I read that over several times and my eyes kept seeing the word, WILLINGNESS. This statement could be a challenge especially if prayers are not answered right away or seem long to demonstrate. I also hear my friend Rev. Jean Sweet say, “GOD Always say YES.
We are told over and over again by Biblical verses, Spiritual Scriptures and Readings that GOD always hears our prayers. I do know this to be true in my life. EH wrote, “God is ever present, ever-available. All the wisdom , intelligence and power of the universe is right where you are. Your word is power when you know this.”
I also know God answers prayers for what we NEED. God is always WILLING to give us the life of Joy, Love, Acceptance, Abundance, Forgiveness and myriads of Blessings. Sometimes what we NEED is more important than what we WANT. What we need can be a catalyst and a jumpstart to gaining what we want in a very different way.
Since we just had our World Labyrinth Day Walk, I am reminded of a lady some years ago who shared how her labyrinth walk prayers focused on abundance and prosperity. She took the idea of GOD being abundant within her as she began her walk. When she came out, she was in tears and went to write down her experience. When she shared in our Sacred Circle she said “I asked for abundance and what I received was a softening of my heart as my brother came to mind. We have been estranged for years and I knew right then I loved him dearly and have forgiven him. It was time to call him and let him know. It was a wonderful feeling that came over me knowing I have forgiven both him and myself. I could feel the LOVE of God right there with me and in me.”
We have to be open and receptive for God’s Divine Ideas, Answers and Way when we are in prayer. In New Thought, we ask and say Thank you for this or something better. We always want to be open and receptive to what we NEED as well as what we want. I believe Love and Forgiveness is at the top of the list of how we are to BE in this world and what we need the most.
Remember Matthew 7:7-8
“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

And remember to ASK for what the Divine knows is BEST for you.You will always receive an answer to your prayer. It just may not be what you expect, however it will always be what you NEED.

Be WILLING to receive an answer you did not expect.
It will be for your highest good!

CELEBRATING AND HONORING MOTHERS

                                                      May 5, 2026

Dear Friends,

Happy Mother’s Day coming up this Sunday, May 10th.

Mother’s Day is a beautiful celebration of love, compassion, caring, forgiveness, sadness and many other emotions. Everyone has a special relationship to the mother who raised them, whether it be a biological, adoptive, grandmother, aunt or older sister. A mother’s love can also come from a dad, grandfather, uncle or brother who were instrumental in raising and teaching us. Although we focus on moms and grandmas, many people in our lives have shaped us into who we are today (teachers, neighbors). We acknowledge and appreciate all and we love them for their guidance and nurturing.

Sometimes there is sadness on Mother’s Day for the moms and caregivers we have lost. He honor and remember them on this day. It is also a time for forgiveness for the moms who we feel did not care for us as we needed, or are estranged from us now. We can love and forgive them for maybe they did not know what they did. Does this sound familiar? In pain and on the cross, Jesus asked God to Forgive those who persecuted him. He set the supreme example of forgiveness. Mothers Day is the perfect day to let go of sadness and to love and forgive.

Remember GOD is your Divine Parent, both Mother and Father. GOD’s LOVE surpasses all earthy type LOVE. Remember the LOVE of God, the Divine Mother on this beautiful Mother’s Day.

“The tenderness of mothers’ love shows me the presence of God on earth.”          -May Daily Word
