STAND in UNITY with Islamic Center San Diego

Dear Friends,

Today, I must address what happened in San Diego yesterday, May 18, at the Islamic Center San Diego. Steve and I are friends with Imam Taha Hassane and have been to his center many times for POINT meetings, sacred services, events and gatherings.   We are horrified and heartbroken about what took place. Two shooters stormed the Islamic Center San Diego. Three adults are deceased, one being a security guard. The two shooters took their own lives as well. See the news for more details.

Let us all pray for Imam Taha Hassane, his family, community and all our Muslim brothers and sisters as they try to restore their lives after this horrendous happening.

We all are intimately entwined with and in God and each other. Let our thoughts of Peace and LOVE spread across the web of life so all hear, feel and abide by it.  We cannot resolve hate with hate. We CAN resolve hate with LOVE.

Let us pray for the consciousness of those who carry hate in their hearts.They were taught by someone. God Loves and Forgives and so must we.Let us pray for the Islamic Center San Diego and ALL churches, synagogues, temples, centers, mosques. We are all ONE people of God.
